Controller smelled like fire

hello everybody.

Last evening. My controller stopped working. After when I put him on charging the acc 1 minute later i smelled fire and that came from my controller. I use a cable and battery pack from microsoft self.

What could it be?

The controller is 4 months old

Xbox Controllers

So, I'm making a complaint to say that my Xbox One Standard Controller has started over heating and smoking, I am very worried it is going to catch fire or explode, I have done nothing to the controller, I was simply playing and it started smoking and smelled
like it was burning, what is this health risk, is this normal because if it is you need to up your services!

gamestation has smelly staff i mean really smelly last time i stepped into a game station there was a fat guy that smelled like poo and a skinny guy that smelled of wee oh and the whole shop smelled of stale b.o.

Also to let you know it's been since the latest console update that's causing it. I hadn't been playing it because the console update there weren't really any games worth playing. And then when I fired it up running an actual game on their console update it smells like it's having an electrical fire inside. Combined with the smell of a hair dryer I have both melting plastic smell/ electrical fire smell. It's messed me up for 3 days now. I feel terrible from the smell.

Sounds like the controller is failing and will need to be replaced. You should not be smelling like that. My suggestions would be to replace the controller.

I loves me some M4/Silencer. I like the slight "pop" sound it makes when you fire it with a silencer on it. It sounds like someone is making popcorn.. Sometimes, I like to pretend that the gun smoke smells like butter.
