Controller shuts off while using streaming apps

    Controller shuts off while using streaming apps


    My controller is now automatically shutting off whenever I use any streaming app. This sucks because I have a headset that plugs in to the controller. Is there a way for me to stop my Xbox One from doing this? It doesn't matter the amount of charge or if I have the controller plugged in. It never did this before. I don't know if this started from a controller update or a dashboard update. Thanks in advance for any help.

    It may mean that it's the console since it's happening with all controllers as you have mentioned. We need to reset the console keeping your games and apps to delete any corrupted system data that may be causing the issue. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    I'm sorry, that was on me. I'm a bit lost earlier. For the last resort, kindly reset your console removing everything.
