  1. Controller sending random up/down signals all the time

I am having a problem with my PC. When playing fifa using my Xbox series X/s controller there are random up and down signals. This is a problem when trying to select anything in the menu, if I manage to start a game, I Don't have the problem anymore. If I press the windows button on my keyboard, it will also move the selector up and down, even if I disconnect the controller.

This only occurs after I have used the controller, if I just start up my PC and leave my controller off, I have no trouble. I have noticed this problem in FIFA 22 and F1 21, the only two games where I use a controller. I have already reinstalled FIFA 22, checked controller drivers (I would like to know where to find new windows 10 and 11 ones) and I have reset the controller. I have also run all updates that windows could find on my PC.

I have this problem on both computers that I have used this controller on. One runs on Windows 11 and the other (the one I am currently with) is running on windows 10. These are the only two computers that I have recently used my controller with. I have had this problem for longer, but it used to be just now and then, now it is all of the time. What can I do? Is it something with my controller and if so, why does the problem continue to exist when I disconnect my controller?

Controller sending random up/down signals all the time

    Hello Anton Siemonsma,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are encountering the problem that random up and down signals on the Xbox series X/S controller, sorry for the inconvenience.

This issue may be related to hardware problems, which may be caused by some hardware effects of the joystick. It is recommended that you contact the after-sales service for inspection.

Please refer to:Troubleshoot your Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox Support

If the problem persists after disconnecting the controller, it's possible that the driver has affected and changed the game while the controller was connected, so it's possible that the problem persists after disconnecting.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards,

Sending redstone signals up and down

You need to run some redstone in to the block that the bottom torch is on. When you send a signal to it then it will turn off and then turn on/off the other torches.

Sending redstone signals up and down

    Yep, what ronin said.

But it does seem that the redstone circuits don't go together quite the same as PC. At least I seem to be having some trouble

    HDMI pass through

No my directv box controls what signal it is recieving and sends it through the xbox. Not all broadcasts are in 1080p.

does xbox one's send out sighal to the controller?

I would say it sends them both ways. The controller sends out the signal to make your player move however I would say the Xbox sends out signals to the controller for functions such as the rumble function.
