    Controller scrolling by itself and is unresponsive


    I have a controller that is udated and is completely up to date. This doesnt always happen, but every once in a while when i turn on my console my controllers joystick start freaking out and scroll uncontrollably. Every time i try to push back it automatically
    pushes back down and to the right. Ive tried restarting my console, turning off the console and completely unpugging it but it doesnt do anything. Thoughts?

    It is called stick drift how to fix it i do not know sometimes you need to get a new controller

    The controller update bricked my controller.

    Same problem here. Controller is UnResponsive unless using it USB attached. Wireless isn't working. Holding the jewel button shows the shut down console menu but nothing about the controller itself as if it wasn't connected.

    Weird. I didn't check this morning. I hope it sorted itself out.

    I just bought the covert forces controller and I'm experiencing the same issue. The d pad is unresponsive. I'm currently in possession of the controller and retail packaging, and it's still unresponsive.

    Do you have anything else plugged into the console by chance? A wired controller? A keyboard? Something else that could be interfering with the input and constantly scrolling you to the right.

    It could also be your controller itself despite being new.
