controller ringing

Hi

My xbox one(white model) controller produces a chirping/ringing sound when vibrating. i got the controller today so i wanted to ask if this is normal. If not, can i ask for a replacement because of this? Thanks in forward!

Disk Ringing

The only thing i can think of when a disc is ringed, the xbox is moved.

Disk Ringing

I am so pissed right now i bought BattleField 3 in august and i just started playing it again yesterday and i was sitting here playing battlefield 3 and out of no where it just rings and ruins my disk my multiplayer disk at that! This is utter stupid that
you can't fix this problem i've only have my system (360 E) for 4 months and i'm really thinking about getting rid of it now.

This is not normal. Since it is a recent purchase you should take it back and exchange it ASAP. Good Luck!

The "missing" Ring of Light quadrant most likely was due to your controller temporarily losing connection with your Xbox due to the low batteries. I would imagine that it will be working properly once you replace the batteries in your controller.

Note that as a warning, when your batteries are getting low, the ring of light will "spin" on the controller.

Exchange it at your retailer. The ring of light is blue on the LE controller, not green.

What USB cable did you buy? If you bought the Xbox 360 Play & Charge controller cable, be aware that that cable does NOT transmit controller commands. It only provides power to the controller.

In order to use the controller with the Xbox 360, you will have to press the "Bind" button on the console (the small button next to the USB cover flap or the Memory Unit slots). The console will then have a "rotating" ring of light around it's power button.

Then press the Bind button on the controller (the small button between the LB and RB buttons with the "o)))" symbol). The controller will then also rotate it's ring of light.

When console and controller found each other, the rotating light stops, and the controller should show one segment lit on it's ring of light.
