Controller right stick turns to the right slowly

From my experience, the analog sticks need to be re-designed with FPS games in mind.

The left analog sticks typically get most of their wear / tear from being in the up position (move forward) and being clicked down to run.

The right analog sticks typically get most of their wear / tear from lining up headshots from fast moving targets.

The R Trigger typically gets most of its wear / tear when the player is using something like a Hand Cannon or Rifle type weapons.

The R Button typically gets most of its wear / tear from being used to reload or do a melee attack.

^ The warranty would apply to the Xbox itself, not the accessories.

ok I just watched a video and I'm gonna hurl.

Thank you Electro. I've tried a cotton swab with alcohol but can't exactly get in there. Any other ideas?

@steelmonkey: Have you gone through 2 X1 controllers? Or does that include 1 or 2 360 controllers?

My free replacement died two weeks ago. This was replaced free as well, now I have a working controller.

If you still have warranty on your console, your controller will also. Even if out of warranty, I would still pursue a free replacement. (from where you purchased originally.)

There is no harm in asking. Is is no personal cost to sales person or their company. It will be reimbursed to them by micro soft.

My guess, is that, MS has warrantied thousands of controllers. (at no charge to customers).

I say this based on my experience.
