    Controller right stick moving up on its own, not worn only 2 months old


    my controller's right analog will move up on its own while stationary. It isn't the normal slight movement that's common on older controllers because they're worn, when I release the stick the camera will stay stationary for a second or two then shoot up
    as if I pressed the stick all the way up so I think it may be something misfiring inside. Has anyone experienced this themselves and know a fix?

    Elite Controller issue

    My track ball attached to my right stick is moving up/down easily and causing slow diagonal movement. The controller is 5 months old. This is ridiculous!

    RS Slightly Drifts Up

    I recently bought a new Xbox One S controller (about 3 months ago) and it is already very worn out. When I press down the right trigger it makes almost like a grinding noise, and my right analog stick drifts up. I am only worried about the drift because
    it makes games like 2k18 unplayable. Does anyone know how to fix this? I don’t want to spend $70 on another controller.

    How do I fix Controller drift?

    I have drift on the right stick, but my gimbal is worn, the rubber is gone and it's high mileage indeed.

    For each controller you owned, was it a different stick or direction of drift? Have you considered having the gimbal replaced on one of your old controllers?

    Hey Dice thanks for the recent awesome update but

    I had to get a new controller two months ago. Mine was over 5 years old. I had the rubber coating worn off of both analog sticks. Also the usb cord had to be taped cause it would say disconnected then couldn't do nothing til it was taped. Also the sticks
    would sometimes move on their own or stick at a certain angle. Then when I broke down and bought a new one. lol

    New Elite Series 2 Controller Stick Drift like the Series 1 ! WHY !? Unbelievable !

    Hey dude. Dont get me wrong. The overall feeling of the new Controller is really awesome. It feels so good in your Hands and everything else is working perfectly on my Elite 2. Also the Issue is now barely noticeable on my Swap Controller. When i play normally
    i didnt noticed the Drift.

    when i force it to do the Drift its there, i have to gently touch the right Stick until its moving on its own at some point.

    But playing normal with normal force on the Stick i dint notice the Drift.

    On the one i got first a week Ago it moved on its own even when i was playing normal because it has to much Deadzone and it was to loose. The right Stick i mean.

    So feeling wise it is really a great Controller. We will see if the Stick Problem becomes worse over time. It happened to my Elite Series 1 Controller in the Past, it became worse like every Month.

    i really hope this one now will at least stay as it is right now. Then its usable. We ll see.

    So dont be scared to try it. If you have any Issues you can return it.

    Controller problems ...

    Its the thumbsticks on your controller. Everyone gets it, they get worn and can stick slightly or don'y always center.

    Xbox ONE controllers are poorly manufactured :(

    We bought our Xbox ONE November 2013 and an extra controller. 6 months later both those controllers are having issues. The left thumb stick is worn out to the point that you do not even have to touch the controller and your character will continue
    to move forward without you! So 2 months ago I bought ANOTHER controller, and guess what, today it started doing the same thing as the other ones.
    Why are you buying yet more controllers, instead of having them replaced under warranty?
