Controller Right/Left stick Deadzone

Discus and support Controller Right/Left stick Deadzone in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have the very slightest of stick drift, but the drift is slight enough that usually the normal default deadzone for most games gets rid of it....     Controller Right/Left stick Deadzone


    I have the very slightest of stick drift, but the drift is slight enough that usually the normal default deadzone for most games gets rid of it. However, for other games that have little to no deadzone at all it's very annoying. These games I am talking about in particular don't have a setting in it for deadzone adjustment. Now to the question(s): Is there any way to change the deadzone for a controller outside of games? If there is can you list step by step instead of just slapping a link in a reply with vague words?

    *I have checked xbox accessories and have found nothing that helps... Unless I'm looking in all the wrong places.

    Hello Liel, you've looked in the right place, whether it's in the Xbox Accessories App or within the game that sometimes has some setting that can be changed.

    I've seen on some internet forums that this might be an issue in the control joystics, if it is out of warranty maybe the ideal is to send for specialized technical assistance and for a cleaning.

    The thumb sticks feel better to me apart from the stick drift on the right stick when playing apex in the linear setting you have to set the deadzone to large which defeats the object of using this controller.

    Oh, I see. That's a good question .Controller deadzone is the amount your control stick can move before it's recognized in game. The best way is to adjust the deadzone in your controller.

    Question regarding dead zone size - Xbox Elite Series 2

    Hi Georges,

    thank you for your reply.

    It happens in every game where i can adjust deadzone. I have to set similar values (9-10 out of 100) in order to avoid stick drift so i want to know if this controller has problem or everybody have to set such big values. Left stick can have deadzone set to 0 without drifting.

    Regarding Xbox Accessories - i have this app.
