Controller right button issue

The right button on the controller of my son's Xbox One has to be pressed quite hard to get it to work. The Xbox and controller are only 6 months old. The controller is not used excessively or abused. Do I need to send it in for repair?

XBOX One Dashboard Auto-Scrolling to Right

I had the same issue and discovered that the button on the right front of the controller was stuck in. I tapped the front controller against my hand a few times to force the button out. The issue was fixed.

Controller button mapping issue

Hey there, Pelerge! Sorry to see any frustrations with setting up controller mapping! If you are using a standard controller instead of an elite controller, you will only be able to set up one configuration for your user. While you can set up the second
controller with another user or guest, those settings will be saved for your user account, not the controller itself.

Hi

It does sound like your controller may need servicing, You should be able to confirm the warranty status of the controller

using this link and if the controller is under warranty you will also be able to create the service request.

I have already mentioned how you could get in contact with the previous agent you spoke with. I Also mentioned
contacting support if you would like to speak to some one else. We are not able to view your service orders here on the forums.

If you have received an email from the support agent you were speaking to, you can reply to the email. It will go back to them. You can also request another callback to speak to a different agent about your case. Your case number should be in the email you
received from the support agent.
