    Controller repair cancelled


    Exactly one month ago I did send in my Xbox One Controller to get it repaired (one analog stick was a little loose, and playing with it was very unprecise). I live in Germany and had to send my controller with UPS. I do have proof from UPS that my package
    arrived. Over the past month I was waiting for my controller to get repaired, today when I checked the status of the repair on the Xbox Service Center, I saw that the repair order was cancelled. I found out that it gets cancelled one montch after ordering
    the repair.

    So someone at the repair center lost my controller... awesome! It was the Day One Edition Controller, and I would be pretty mad if it is just gone. I can't get help by the Xbox Support, since it is currently unavailable.

    What should I do?

    Microsoft canceled my controller order

    It has been exactly a month since I sent in the controller to the repair site. Today, I checked on the status of the controller and now it says it has been cancelled.

    WTF!!?! What could they have possibly done to my controller?

    Hey there, Gilwen73! I'm sorry to see that your repair was cancelled with no explanation. It appears that the service center received your console, however the serial number didn't match the repair order that was created. You will need to contact support
    via our Contact Us page to set up a repair order for the proper console. If your region is set to your proper region, once you select
    Xbox 360, select Games under Music, Video, Apps, & Games. Then you will get the option under
    Step 3 to REQUEST A CALL FROM SUPPORT.

    Be sure to mention that they should look at the repair order on the console it was originally created on for further instructions. You should have Service Request number in the email you received when you created the original order; that's the one they will
    want to check.

    I am sincerely sorry about the confusion and delayed repair for your console. I do hope we will be able to sort it out once you contact us via phone support! Controller repair cancelled :)

    Yesterday I got a replacement for my controller. It took almost 6 weeks, but now everything's fine. Thank you for your help!

    You'll need to contact support. You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you don't see those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually work for me.
