Controller refuses to sync (began following update).

Hi there guys,

I'll be brief. my Xbox one controller simply doesn't sync to the Xbox, regardless of how many times I try to power cycle, change the batteries, use the sync buttons etc. I've noticed this began following the update in October. I was wondering if you guys
could chip in with suggestions?

Controller BRICKED

After new Xbox One system update I began to get messages to update my controller. I hooked up controller to usb cable and began the process. At 2% it said their was an issue connecting the controller. My controller turned off and now nothing I do gets it
to turn on. I see through many discussions through your forum and tons of outside forums that this is a known issue that Microsoft refuses to acknowledge... Requiring the end user to purchase a new controller. Is this correct? Has any resolution been found?

wireless 360 headset with bluetooth no longer connects to xbox

no matter how many times i sync it it refuses to connect to the xbox after today's beta update

yea its not a sync problem , tried with several different controllers and tried syncing them all but had no joy...just console switchs on, no signal and controllers refuse to sync. no clue what to try next to be honest

My problem is like yours! I got my console since launch and never had any problems in relation to control. After I did the update in September, my control began to have its own life and then immediately it disconnects and connects again! I mean, before the
control losing sync with the console, it turns the game character alone, for example, in BF4 my player gives 360 before the control loses connection! Did you notice if it was after the September update? Your control disconnects?

This could also be an issue with the controller not being synced properly, most likely due to something like a controller firmware update (I know there was one of those recently) or a general Xbox update. I would follow this support troubleshooter about

There is an update for the controller out at the moment. It may be worth checking that your controller doesnt need an update. Plug it in when the console is on and it should inform you if an update is required. Then follow instructions on screen.

Alternatively you may have to reconsider the refusal to factory reset if you want the issue fixed and none if the suggestions work.
