    Controller randomly losing connection for a split second


    Hello, my Xbox one is about 1 week old and it works perfectly fine, I played alot over the last 2 days and sometimes once per hour or even once every 3 hours the controller randomly loses connection and then regains it in literally 1 second.

    This is really frustrating when playing games online.

    I have tried normal battery and battery pack, both are secure and inserted correctly.

    Tried the full power down and re sync from trouble shooting.

    I was just wondering if anybody else is getting this problem?

    I have a big problem with my xbox one. Everything was okay during first month but I have a problem with losing wifi and controller connection. Problem is randomly. Console just firstly lose connection with controller and after a few seconds internet loses
    connection too. I did factory reset. What can I do?

    Solution: Its the wireless. No matter how good the connection is, you will randomly disconnect like every hour. That is because the wireless sometimes losses contact with your xbox only for a split second causing you to disconnect. Use a ethernet cable,
    you will not disconnect.

    Same here... Makes me not even want to play b/c it's so irritating. Love how with the 360 controller I could walk up stairs, out to the mail box, etc. basically almost everywhere throughout my house and it would work, but with this Xbox one even being less
    than 10 feet away and I get random disconnects..

    What it sounds like is that your losing internet connection between the Xbox and the router for some reason.

    There could be one in a million different reasons that you could lose the connection.

    I honestly have heard one story of one guy that would be fine all morning playing the game then when his kids came home at a certain time he would lose connection for a split second.

    Come to find out his router was between his fridge and his xbox and when the kids would open up the fridge for that split second he would lose connection.

    This is just one example of how you could lose connection for a split second like that and that split second can cause you to be disconnected from the live services.

    It's the XBox...I had the same issues with a new controller. Returned for another new one, it still has the same problem. My other two controllers do NOT randomly lose connection.
