Controller Randomly Disconnects

Hey everyone, I have a Day One console which I recently sent in for two things, "grinding noise" disc drive not reading discs and random controller disconnects. I received the same console (same serial number) back in horrible condition, it has scratches
all over it. It looked brand new when I sent it off. I complained about the physical damage to tech support and they were going to "escalate" the issue and contact me within 24-72hrs. Guess what, never heard a thing. Despite everything, I've been using the
console and the disc drive issues seem to be fixed, but the controller disconnect issues are still happening. I'm guessing by the poor quality of support I've received so far, that this issue wasn't even addressed when I sent it in. Before I contact support
again, has anyone had any luck with controller disconnects being resolved with console repair? I've tried all of the methods suggested on the support page regarding this issue. I'm kind of afraid to send it in again. If the console came back scratched up the
first time, it may return to me in several pieces the second time...

Problem with controller

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are
