Controller Qualty

I remember seeing interviews where they said that it was tested and tested to be perfect. My question is this:

1- in Forza, when the trigger rumble turns on the bumpers buzz like crazy. It was fine for the first 15 minutes when i just got it, all was well and tightT, but now its frustrating.

2- the top cover and bottom cover seem to have slack in them. Sometimes i feel the two move and slightly separate.

i have the day 1 edition and was wondering if regular controllers are better.

Agreed. Some are more or less good. Sadly the bad one's like EA are in control of MS. And thats ain't good. No matter how good publisher is, he should not be forced on indies like what MS does. There wont be a lot of qualty inie games in this gen on xbox

Yeah you're right. Basically, ive done the same thing and I'm of the same mindset. Mines a sony w9 and it's probably the same thing.

 

I have had no problem, but I got mine on day 4 and a little later respectively.

 

There have been a few reports about the early controllers not having the best build quality. I have a controller from December that came with my console and a 3 week old Titanfall controller and both are very solid with no issues at all. If you are having
issues then either get it replaced by MS support or buy a second controller and ask the shop to give you one from their most recent stock.

 

Thats unfortunate., i guess i will be losing the day one edition logo than. Do you have a link to where i could ask for a controller replacement?

My controller's "plates" feel a bit loose as well, but haven't actually come apart yet, so for now, I'm fine. I am kind of disappointed that there appears to be no option to disable the rumble though.

 

^ mine dont come off but sometimes feel loose. In Forza you can lower it which makes it feel better as far as buzzing goes.

 

I have a Day One controller and one that I bought later. The second one feels better. More solid and the grain on the plastic seems to wear less. I have a feeling the day one controllers used a softer plastic and were thrown together to be rushed out for
launch.

 

Mine is a bit creaky and a couple of the buttons are not as responsive as I would like them to be and that was before the two falls that it has had which thankfully has not caused any further problems.

 

Agree, They were defiantly rushed out. My controller isnot lose or cheaply made.But the left stick is alwayss moving forward. This is a pain when navigating menus....that is all

 

Also, another problem i noticed "i am ocd" both triggers feel different when fully pressed and released as well as make a different sound.

My controller does the same thing. I thought it was just me being OCD lol. The right trigger sounds like a deeper thunk than the left trigger. At least to me.

 

I did not want to say this back when I owned my ONE but my left handle felt loose and hollow. It would move slightly and just felt cheap.
