Controller Profile Doesn't work once unplugged Win10

I got a new xbox controller to use for my computer. I downloaded xbox accessories and signed in. I made a new controller profile (required my controller plugged in through usb) where i swapped my a/b buttons. When I test it using the test option the buttons show up as swapped. When I use the controller in game WHILE plugged in, the a/b swap is there.

The second I unplug it from my computer and it's connecting with blue tooth, the profile goes back to default button map. I can't configure it over blue tooth either.

Is there some "upload profile to controller" setting I'm missing maybe?

I believe it's some problem/bug with the new version of the Xbox accessories app on pc, people have been reporting this. I suggest you report this problem on the link below.

- But also try to uninstall the accessories app, delete the profiles you made and try to create them again.

The slots correspond with the profile switch in the middle of your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. You can have two different profiles saved to your controller at one time. For example, if Slot 1 is your shooter profile and Slot 2 is your racing profile, just flip the switch and you're ready to go. You won't need to adjust any other settings. You can also do this while you play a game.

Your configuration of the slots travels with your controllers. If you take your controller to a friend's house, the configuration will be saved on the controller and usable there.

I've saved the profile to slot 1, but once i unplug the WIRELESS controller I cannot use the profile i saved to that slot. The article states "it's saved to controller", but it doesn't seem to be doing that. How do I get it to save onto the controller?

I have the same problem. Once I unplug the control, it starts to blink and doesn't work.

OK, that's odd. It might be a glitch with the app. You're running windows 10 on your PC? Have you tried to restore the OS on your PC?
