    Controller Problems & how to fix


    I need help with an issue with my controller and i don't know what to do. I was in a middle of an apex legends match when all of a sudden my controller disconnects and starts to blink after a few seconds the xbox home button is on but i can't do anything with it like quitting a match or access different apps. I can only use the xbox home button only and its the only functional button im able to press. I tried the following:

    -Tried to sync back my controller with my xbox -Took off the batteries -Updated the software (Used personal device) -Turned it off All these solutions and yet my controller still remains bright with only the home button as the only button to press and be functional and i can't even get the power down options to show up. So i have to use my phone to do anything on xbox. Can someone please help

    wired controller

    sounds like you have a broken controller. There is not a way to fix that. It is just a problem with the wire and how it is connected.

    ^Yep, it's for all controllers. If the "A" button wasn't remapped, then I have no idea how to fix the problem. The only thing I can think of is to get another controller.
