    Controller problems disregarding the update.


    Here's my diagnosis of the problem: I'll go to turn on my controller, but when I hold the button down, it'll sit there, blinking at me for 20 seconds, before turning off. I've tried multiple things: I've checked to see if something was in the way (nothing),
    I've changed the batteries (full charge last time, but whatever), turned off my phone, computer, etc. (works fine even with them on), and I know it can't be something with the router/modem, because it's literally 2 feet from my XB1. My console works fine (although
    I have to turn it on manually), but it's just my controller. It won't connect. HALP!

    Disregard. Apparently the controller needed updating. Did so, and now it works.

    I had to update my controller to play Titanfall. It worked but not great, did the update and it was much better to me.

    In case you have not looked for the update here is what to do (if you know then disregard):

    1. Navigate settings->system->controller update

    2. You will need to hook up a micro-usb to usb to your controller and Xbox One.

    3. Follow any instructions on screen.

    Hopefully that will resolve your problem if they are not physically broken.

    The controller is subject to any interference but most of these reports are resolved.

    Please reply with the batteries that you're using.

    Also consider if you're describing disconnections that occur for one second while playing....this appears to be a bug that many are expressing in the forums.

    Make sure your controller firmware is updated.

    Disregard the stereo adapter but if you have not updated your controller firmware this should fix the problem.
