Controller problems (analog and mic port)

If you find that the 3.5 mm mic port on your controller is the cause of the issue, you can bypass that port by using a

Stereo headset adapter.

My mic usually has the same problem, but my Xbox Controller's mic port is causing the problem. Either the controller mic port could be their issue, the mic plug-in cord, or the mic in general. Feedback has also had issues with constant screeches.

Yes, both controllers fully updated.

Mic is at2020usb+, headphones are the apple earbuds, phone is the Nexus 5.

I'm using the audio out port on the mic and connecting that to the mic port of the splitter, and the headphones to the headphones port of the splitter, and the combo port to the controllers.

I have analog, HDMI out and optical input ports in my speaker.

Currently I am using my controller's analog output to send audio to my speaker's analog input.

As a headset, not so much. The mic port on the Xbox One controller is not easily converted to a standard 2.5mm analog mic port, however MS has said that Kinect is able to focus on who is talking and only pick up what one is saying instead of
all the background noise. Until the adapters are ready Kinect should be able to serve as a mic if you don't want to hook up the included chat headset.
