  1. Controller Problem

I just received a Xbox One Console back from Xbox Repair. I am having troubles keeping my controllers connected and powered on to the new Xbox One. The controllers can turn on the xbox from sleeping state and operate fine for about 20 seconds. The Xbox
button then starts to blink and the controllers power off. There is definite lag when moving through the Home Menu Screen.

I have changed the batteries in both of my controllers.

I have power cycled the console several times.

I have tried to re-sync the controllers manually via the sync buttons on both the controllers and the console.

I have moved my wi-fi modem further away from the console.

There are no metallic or chrome objects in the Kinect viewing area.

I have updated both of the controllers via USB cables.

I am sitting about 15 ft from the console.

The controllers worked fine for the last console. I sent my original console in for repair due to a noise from the fan.

Did I receive a faulty console and do I need to send it back in for repair/exchange?

    Thanks!

    :)

    Controller Problems

Normally I'd go to google, but having a hard time as the word Battery and Draining, just comes up with troll forums about how much bullshit it is to have batteries instead of a charge pack blah blah.

Here's the issue. My controlller (day 1) with brand new batteries is showing 3/4 full, then 5 minutes later it gives me the low battery warning, then it disconnects at random.

I had thought it was a short. I went to town on the thing (immature I know) while doing Bottles last puzzle in Banjo...fucking thing is not made for the XB controller...

Troubleshooting I put the batteries into my 2nd controller that I never use and sure as shit, same thing.

Anyone else having these disconnects or battery issues?

  3. Controller Problems

No. As the matter of fact, I don't use batteries anymore. Not even the rechargeable ones. I just connect my controller to XBO with the wire that came in the charge kit.
Have you tried Xbox Support on twitter? Usually they don't take more than a couple hours to answer.

  4. Controller Problem

Try holding the sync button on the controller and the console until they sync to each other. The sync button on the console is on the side front corner. It's a silver button and it has wavy lines on it.
