    Controller port broken


    This happened to another one of my controllers when I plugged in my turtle beaches, then all I hear is static then they cut out, switching the sound to the tv, why is this happening? I'm careful with every controller...

    Cannot hear voices through headset

    Just an FYI, My problem was a broken headset port on Day One Controller. Tried a friends controller works fine. Microsoft will not guarantee a Day One Controller replacement.. Nice Job MS.

    Xbox controller won't sync

    Your controller or controller port could be broken, the other day my controller was glitching out. I had to switch it out.

    Did you try multiple controllers? Otherwise, no idea.

    Sounds like the charging port/micro usb port on the controller is broken. So the controller is not getting enough charge and why it turns off immediately. But then you say it doesn't work with batteries also so the controller itself is broken then. Did
    you check for corrosion?

    I think you are wrong, with the headset adapter the jack of the headset is plugged into the adapter which use the expansion port on the controller to transmit the audio. The broken jack port on the controller will not be used anymore.

    when it comes to controllers , there are instances where the mic port is broken. if you have tried multiple headsets then, it probably the port itself.
