Controller Pairing Problem

Can you try pairing it on a DIFFERENT PC to check if it's a Bluetooth problem on your PC or the controller itself?

If the controller pairs on a different PC (or your Android or iOS Smartphone) then the controller is working and you need to check the Bluetooth stack on your PC.

I also had a that problem with my wireless controller. Once I re-paired the controller, everything worked fine.

To the OPs problem for no sound and no vibration that should be fixed with the latest driver updates.

For pairing, how are you pairing the controller? I have mentioned this on other posts, one easy alternate way to pair is to have your controller connected wired to the PC, plug in the Wireless Adapter to the PC as well, wait like 5 seconds, and unplug the
controller, the driver stack will automatically have paired the controller to the adapter, just like on the Xbox.

Once you pair the controller successfully and never use that controller for any other PC or Xbox, then the address of the adapter is saved in the controller. Repairing to the same adapter is not required. If it is not connecting, plug/unplug the adapter
instead to reset the adapter.

I had this same problem and followed TonicTiara13787's advice. 2nd controller paired and now works fine, so recommend others experiencing this problem to try the same. The pairing button on the console is on the front, left hand side, connected to the Disc
drive.

It did take a try or two and some waving about of the controller to pair, but this method did work. Hope you other dudes get yours sorted!

You've probably already resolved this problem... But just in case, or for future gaming reference... Try pairing your 2nd controller. The 2nd controller always has to be paired in order to be activated.

There's a tiny button on the front of the controller. And another button of the side of the Console. (Like directly left of the console, should be part of the front button, but on the side if that makes sense. It's black) Press and Hold that button and the
the tiny button on the controller (at the same time) until the flashing light goes solid.

Your controller should now be paired and functional.
