    Controller not working with XCloud


    I've tried both the controller that came with my One X and a PS4 controller, on both of them I can use XBAY/the PS equivalents, but the triggers, the dpad, and thumbsticks don't do anything in game. They work outside of game, and can even navigate the Gamepass app. I've tried reinstalling the app and forgetting and reconnecting both controllers. Anyone have a solution? I'm using a Pixel 2 XL

    Why would I request a repair for my controller? It works perfectly fine for all but xCloud. This issue is specific to xCloud.

    I had the same issue. The controller worked for navigating through Xbox app. but when a Xcloud game is launched, the inputs stopped working. I force stopped Xbox app and unpaired controller and removed it from Bluetooth devices. After reconnecting, the controller is working in Xcloud games. Hopefully it will fix your problem too. And it is for sure that this error is of Xbox app.

    I've seen user comments using the controller in the Xbox app on the phone, maybe your controller works with xCloud there.

    Unfortunately, PC wheels are not officially supported on Xcloud at this time.. We recommend using a controller that is officially supported by Xcloud for the best experience. You can find a list of supported controllers on the Xcloud website.

    Looks like its just for android phones and tablets and you need a controller (though i can confirm that xcloud works with nonxbox controllers).
