Controller Not Working for Console Streaming

Discus and support Controller Not Working for Console Streaming in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Anyone else having an issue with console streaming where you can connect fine but the controller doesn't work?     Controller Not Working for Console Streaming


    Anyone else having an issue with console streaming where you can connect fine but the controller doesn't work? I tested my setup and there was an error that a controller firmware update is needed, but one's not available. Is this something I just need to wait for?

    all you are doing is streaming the image from the console, the console has to be used the same way as you would on the tv, a controller is only supported, i don't even think the games that support KnM even work over streaming and still have to use a controller.

    When you test(on console) streaming ability, it DOES mention when it tests controller that some buttons may not work, and that a controller firmware update is on way to fix it

    We understand your sentiment when using the controller on PC. This is not the experience that Microsoft wishes you to have. As your support advisor, let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

    As per your description, this issue happened after an Xbox update. To better isolate the issue we will ask for few things.

    May we know what Xbox app did an update? Is it the Xbox app or Xbox Accessories app or Xbox Console Companion?

    Would you mind what streaming app your son is using?

    May we confirm if your son is using Xbox controller?
