Controller not working except in dash

Discus and support Controller not working except in dash in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Controler not working on home screen.     Controler not working on home screen. Dash button works and can navigate friends list etc. But takes me to restart to use homescreen

    Xbox One dashboard unresponsive or behaving strangely

    Similar problem here. It started just over this last weekend. It came up with a screen saying announcements and then never cam back. It sat there froze never loading anything. In the end I turned off. Pulled the power and restarted. The following day whilst
    in the dash board the controller became unresponsive. I took batteries out of controller and started the second controller using the usb cable but the dash would not respond. Turned off and rebooted again. Today same thing? Like others have said above it's
    been working fine until this last weekend??

    I have the latest dash board. It's been working fine the entire time I've had it. With the exception of Xbox LIVE right now.

    Did you ever get it ot work? Having close to the same problem. I get a green light on the dash but none of the buttons work except for the D-pad and center button.

    but can still use the adapters, they work fine. better for instant control instead of using the useless dash controls. also better sound too.

    New Kinect still has some bugs to be worked out

    They locked it for a reason.

    Kinect 1 worked for me all the time after some updates.

    I will use the Kinect mostly for the dash and def for Skype calls.

    I think it is still faster then navigating though the dash with the controller.
