Controller not responding at all.

Okay. Try doing a hard reset EXACTLY this way. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
console. Once it is back up and operational test the results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

turns out it worked genesis I had never encounterd it before (the controller issue) and got scared(never even happened back with the original xbox and xbox 360) mods can do whatever they do with solved problems

Moved it last night far away from any other source. Played for an hour or so without issue. Played again this morning for an hour or so and then it just acted up again. Was in a game on a map scrolling places pressing up on the dpad and it just froze like
i was holding it down, continuiusly scrolling. Removed batteries, pressed power button and it lit up solid but remained frozen.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.



Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Hogwarts Legacy, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Uninstall and reinstall the game.



Solution 4: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
