Controller not respond and automaticly scroll back issue

    Hello.

On my xbox one x it have happened 3 times now that i can play just fine, but when i push xbox buttom on the controller to close the game or access the menu, when i push LB or RB to scroll it automaticly goes back where i was, so it go one step forward one
step back so i cant use the menu, same with the arrow/joystick on the menu too.

One time it helped to just unplug the battery in the controller, but today i had to do it twice and wait a minute or so then it all works just fine again.

Anyone know what this issue could be?

    :)

Thanks, i unplugged the power cable for over 10 seconds, and i would try to reconnect and bind the controller just to be sure and maby that would prevent the issue to happen again. Next time i could also try to restart the console if it happens again.

Anyone here have heard about this wierd issue before?

Could the issue be on the console or just the controller you think?

I notice my kid have a table made of steel in the same height as the table where the consoles stand, dont know if that could have anything to do with it?

I notice my kid have a table made of steel in the same height in front of the console, dont know if that could have anything to do with it?
that could have an effect on the wireless signal from the controller. any large metal object can shield/block the signal, so it is worth moving the table if possible
