Controller not registering mic audio

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

Before we try any different solutions, would you know how to tell me if your controller is up to date, please check this by following the instructions below.

Solution1:

Instructions to install the update should automatically appear. Follow the instructions, and don’t disconnect the USB cable while the update is in progress. The process can take up to 3 minutes. If instructions to install the update don't automatically appear, you can start the process manually. To do this, press the Xbox button  to open the guide, choose Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided.

*If you use the headset on the controller, make sure you have it plugged into your controller at the time of upgrade.

Solution 2:

When you set up a profile for a child on the console, the Privacy & online safety settings let the parent profile control who can communicate via chat with the child on Xbox Live. In the Privacy & online safety section, you can enable chat communication in the child's profile. For players under age 17, the default setting is Friends Only.

Do I understand what type of connection you use, and what is your NAT?

Yes the controller is up to date and communication is set to everybody.

I see I believe it might be a problem with your controller input since you tried it on other consoles and the problem persisted. Is your control still within the warranty period?

A Wi-Fi connection and my NAT is open. However I am positive it is not a network issue as I have tested it on three different Xbox's on different networks as well as on my phone and my computer (which is hardwired) with the problem always persisting.
