Controller Not Recognized for Update

So, hadn't played on my Xbone for a bit and wanted to play some Titanfall. Turned on the Xbox with no issue with Headset attached through the adapter and saw there was an update, no big deal right? False, after said update my controller stopped working
with the headset adapter.

So, I had thought there might be a controller update. Step by step, I did the instructions all the way to having the pop up for the update of the controller (which works even with the headset adapter in but only with the mini USB). When I try to update the
controller (after the pop up comes up) it states that the controller is not connected). Which is utter crap as I am holding the A button down to try to update it.

Is there some larger issue I am missing here?

Controller don't work anymore after a firmware update

Hello,

a few days ago I made a firmware update for my Xbox One Controller with the Xbox Accessor App for Windows 10. Since then the controller connect with the wireless Adapter for USB but will not recognized by Windows. When I connect the controller with the USB cable
it will recognized but the analog sticks and the two anlog shoulder triggers wont work

 

i was invited to the xbox one update oreview and i cant enter the preview forums

Just in case... the new update for April has a problem with voice shut off when the pop up for the ''off command'' not being recognized no matter what I've tried. I have to use controller at that point.

 

Ok mate press the small round button on front of controller near where you plug the small end of the usb, keep it pressed until it starts to flash, then release now press again the light should stop flashing,try to update again
