    Hi. I've always used a wired controller (PowerA brand) to pay cloud gaming through Microsoft Game Pass on Edge. I have used the controller for over a year with no issues to play cloud gaming. When i logged in to Game Pass today however, it now is saying "No controller detected". This is weird, because the controller is being detected through my PC in other ways (Steam, Epic Games, Amazon Luna, Game Pass through Chrome, etc). Just not Microsoft Edge Game Pass. I tried restarting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the controller. Nothing works. Will you help?

    Hi. The controller I have is "PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S". There is a section for PowerA in verified controllers. It use to work for me just fine for over a year. I am not sure why suddenly it is not working. Any ideas?

    Same problem here on two different pc's. Problem is an update from Edge. Since then my controller stopped working.

    Microsoft should work on this.

    I have the PowerA Spectra Infinity and I'm also having the same issue. This controller has worked fine for me on Edge Canary, but now all of a sudden it is not being recognised by that browser or even regular Edge, The controller works on my PC, including on Chrome and the Gamepass app, but none of these have the clarity boost mode, so I'm not happy with sticking with those choices.

    I have looked deep within the PowerA website and there is no mention of these controllers needing firmware updates at all.

    Yes, is a Microsoft Edge Browser problem. I have an Xbox 360 Wireless Game pad working fine in the last update for Windows 8.1 Edge web browser, and works perfectly. So Microsoft need to solve this problem on Windows 10 and 11. It's ridiculously... 😒
