Xbox one s controller view button not working

This is absolutely not helpful. There is nothing that resetting the console will do to fix a single controller button not functioning.

Just wanted to drop my experience here—in November my partner bought me the Fortnite purple controller, and it came with a defective (half-functioning, maybe functional 35% of the time) view button. Filed a warranty claim, got a new one, which had an
entirely non-functional view button. Filed another one, sent that one in, got my new one today, and guess what—it's ALSO defective, with another entirely non-functional view button.

I'm about to talk to another representative because I'm absolutely livid at this point. It shouldn't take three months to get my hands on a functional controller from the
people who make the controller. Hopefully controller #4 is the charm.

Damn, so I'm stuck with replacing them until my warranty runs out and then I'll have a non functioning controller. Great profit scheme.

Xbox One's cloud network will be equivalent to three consoles in storage and processing power

@ The PS4 controller has a light bar sensor on the front of it that functions coherently with the new PS Eye in order to sense where the controller is located in the room. Unless SONY is dumb enough to build a controller with functions that only
some people will use, the PS Eye will be required.

    [/quote]

Watch the video... it's quite clear. PlayStation 4 Eye sold separately at 2:30. The function of the lightbar is for specific functions, that as I understand it are additions, not primary functions. Things like tracking multiple controllers in the room and
making sure the split screens match up. Sixaxis function is still provided somehow, not sure if that's via the lightbar or other bits and bobs, but all these functions were non-mandatory.

Xbox controller’s right stick button non-functioning

    Hello Frogulator3000,

We appreciate you for sharing this with us and welcome to Xbox Forums.

We understand that you're experiencing issues with your Xbox controller's right stick button. I'll be happy to assist you with this issue.

Firstly, I would suggest trying to reset the controller. To do this, please follow the steps below:

    1. Turn off your Xbox controller by holding down the Xbox button for 6 seconds.

    2. Press and hold the pairing button on your controller for 3 seconds until the Xbox button starts flashing.

    3. Press the pairing button on your PC or Xbox console until the Xbox button on the controller stops flashing and remains lit.

If resetting the controller doesn't work, you can try updating the controller's firmware. To do this, please follow the steps below:

    1. Connect your controller to your PC using a USB cable.

    2. Open the Xbox Accessories app on your PC.

    3. Select your controller from the list of devices.

    4. Click on the "Device info" button.

    5. If there is a firmware update available, click on the "Update firmware" button and follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also check out this helpful link for other solutions for the issue we have and troubleshoot your Xbox Wireless Controller..

If the issue persists after resetting and updating the firmware, it's possible that the right stick button is physically damaged. In this case, I would recommend you check the following links for possible repair service:

I hope this information helps you resolve the issue with your Xbox controller. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Kind regards,
