    Controller Mic and Usb Ports Not Working


    I haven't had this issue up until today. Every time I try to use my USB port on my wireless controller the controller will not turn on. I managed to find some batteries that had a decent amount of juice in them and when I plug in my mic it shows the no
    mic symbol when in the party. Please help.

    Xbox 360 Controller BS

    My USB 3rd party controllers don't have mic ports, but they are meant for computer.

    My wireless 360 controllers all had mic ports.

    anyone have problems with the mike, tried to without success to get it working, have the controller switched on and the mic connected and when i try to start the game it keeps saying please connect a microphone or headset and i have tried all the usb ports and it still wont work, the usb ports are fine as i have the free bass guitar plugged on and it works fine.

    No USB head sets will work unless they plug into the controller mic port as well.

    The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

    Thanks! So there is no way I can do all of this without using a controller ? My headset has a mic already on it but you can turn it off by pull ion the mic lever up . The mic hyper x solo cast has a usb connection so you can only connect using a usb port . So you have to use a controller ?

    Xbox 360 controller causing whine in headphones.

    Internet Expert it was the positioning of the USB port and the Audio port. I plugged the controller into the back USB port and the whine stopped while the controller works fine. Thanks!
