controller losing sync with xboxone while playing horizon 2

I started having an issue with my controller while playing horizon 2. If my controller disconnects for any reason it will not re sync with the one.

I have been in party with other gamers that mentioned this happening to them. I have to reset the xbox when this happens, I can still give voice commands with the kinect, so the system is not frozen. I have tried resyncing the controller with the sync button.
But it doesn't work. So far this has only happened while playing horizon 2.I managed to resync the controller once with out restarting the console. Using the kinect to start another game "wich quits out of the current game" then pressing the sync buttons,
so I think this is a software issue .



I have done everything I know to fix this. cleared sys. cache, didn't help . I havn't deleted my digital download version of the game and will only do that as a last resort. Xbox Support, turn 10 somebody please fix this. If anybody else has experianced
this issue please give advice. Thanks

Achievement issues

I am playing forza horizon on xboxone with backward compatibility, while playing the game i unlocked 20 achievements but when i check the xone’s achievements menu it says that i unlocked only 8 of them

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

 

Does Kinect Not Work With The New Groove App?

"Cortana next song" works with Groove app. Did it last night while playing Forza Horizon 2.

 

I had this happen to me also for the first time last night so you are not alone.When I rebooted the xbox 1 all was good but it will happen again im sure.

 

Happens to me too, really annoying.

 

I play with a wheel normally but the little time that I have played with a controller, this has happened to me twice.

 

Are you part of the beta preview program? I think this is the issue that's been affecting beta program players. And I think an update has dropped - or will be dropping soon to fix this.

 

Same problem for me and it's super annoying!

When ever the controller turns off or looses sync (say if i walk away from the console for a few minutes and the controller powers off automatically... or even just changing the batteries in it) it's impossible to not only resume the game via the controller
you can't even use the X logo button to return to the main menu... i can stare at the game still functioning and making sounds though.

Happened in the demo and i thought 'oh it's probably a bug they've already fixed in the full game' but nope, full game is suffering the exact same issue
