Controller left sticks keep failing

I have a day one controller and have gone through 3 controllers and I just bought a new white one from the new Xbox and the same thing. The left controller keeps clicking and sticking when I push it to the right. I play neverwinter and some racing games
2 to 3 hours a day and mostly watch tv. I can't keep shelling out $60 dollars every couple of months for a new controller. If I was a professional gamer and was on 10 hours a day I could possibly see this happening but not play a couple of hours a day.

Elite Controller Stick Drift

This is the second Elite controller i've bought. First one would stick in the left-stick up position or drift up occasionally. I tried to fix it myself manually and voided the warranty. This second Elite controller I bought is now having right-left stick
drift/sticking so when i turn right or left in game sometimes it stays turning even though i move the stick back to the neutral position.

I'm absolutely floored that this $150 "Elite" controller is just absolute garbage when it comes to quality. I had the first one for 5 months and I've had this latest one for 2 months and it's already failing. How can I return it or get it fixed under warranty?

Manual(s)

Third lowest on the left would be Caps and toggled via Left Stick (LS). The two sticks on your controller can be pressed into the controller as if they were buttons. Press the Left Stick in and you'll change between caps and lowercase.

I hate how they swapped sticks, now the right stick controls your helos vertical angle and the left stick controls your level. I can't keep in the air for more than 5 mins.

@ArfElas 3512 I have been looking into the Elite controller - our controllers keep having the left stick break where it keeps the 'drifting' the curser/arrow/gun or whatever the game uses that stick for.

I was thinking that maybe with that controller I would be able to fix it myself by replacing the stick but I am not sure if the issue is in the stick itself or the mechanism that is controlling the stick.

What is your thought...

I have found this on many xbox one controllers, its either the triggers failing, the all time classic analogue stick drift, primarily from left stick or headphone jack not working.

Yet to see a single third party cheap controller break yet.
