Controller Left Anaglog Stuck Going Up!

Ive recently started noticing the left analog stick on my controller is stuck going up. I got Xbox One for my boyfriend for Christmas last year and we've barely used it; maybe 10 times throughout the year to stream and play games for short periods of time.

It's extremely frustrating, especially when he just got Fallout 4 and can't even play the game because the controller is stuck in one direction.

I spent a lot for the bundle package last Christmas and now Microsoft wants to charge me $60 to replace an accessory I've BARELY used?

I know I'm the only one with this problem; I've read about this happening to a lot of people but I'm not sure how to resolve it. Can someone give some feedback?

Updated and now I’m stuck on certain screens and can’t do anything

Have you tried using a different controller it sounds like your controllers left analog stick may be stuck going to the right.

Left Trigger??

Since you say you tried multiple controllers:

Did you turn off the "faulty" controller, or did you simply sign up a second and third controller and the first, defective controller is messing up with the "stuck" trigger, so you think the other controllers also have a defective left trigger?

Hi there,

Unfortunately that usually a sign that the controller is having a hardware malfunction. Accessory warranties are only 90 days from purchase so you will need a new one. That said, I know the Microsoft store has 30.00 off select controllers on Black Friday
if you're in the USA. May be worth a look.

Yep! It's working. The only problem now is my original controller is stuck going left. I'm not sure if it's because of the D-pad, shoulder buttons, or the stucks. Nooo idea.

My Titanfall controller left thumb stick is doing it also. Constantly drifting up after I push up. My standard controller that came with my system seems fine. Curious if it's something fixable or deos it need to be replaced. Been over 90 days for the warranty.
