    Controller keeps pressing buttons


    My controller just started continuously pressing the button with the three lines on it and wouldn’t stop and after a while the right on the D-pad also started holding the button. Is there any way I can reset my controller or remove this issue?

    Does the problem also occur when connecting the controller to other devices?

    You could test it on a console, PC or smartphone.

    Please check that your controller is up to date via the Xbox Accessories app.

    Additionally, check if this issue is the same when connecting the controller via Bluetooth and USB.

    The controller is up to date and the issue stays the same if I use Bluetooth or USB.

    I’ve tried on a few games and I notice my sensitivity feels different from last time, I don’t know if that means anything. I notice it a lot more when I am on YouTube or other video streaming apps. Sometimes the bar won’t disappear when I press B, or when I push my joystick up. I have tried to uninstall the Xbox accessories app, but I don’t get the option to uninstall. Should I buy a new controller?
