Controller keeps looking up

I have tried updating my controller, but when i play it keeps looking up by itself. i do not have another controller to test. anyone have any ideas?

Why is my controller going up

My controller keeps looking up when I'm not doing anything. It just did this all of a sudden.

Is there any way I could fix this without buying another controller?

 

Keeping Up

Have you been keeping up with the Spartan Ops episodes and playing them as they release? I thought I was keeping up with them pretty good, but apparently not. I thought only 3 episodes had been released, but it looks like we're up to 5 now. Anyone current on all 5 episodes?

 

Does it slowly drift up? Or shoot up quickly?

Sounds like a bit of dirt in the stick tried cleaning it?

 

Same problem here, my right analog stick on xbox one controller drifts immediately up when launching any game. This problem started out of nowhere after only 8 months of normal use. Tried updating controller, changing batteries, nothing works. Controller
is worthless now.

 

Ondishko I have the same issue as you. I bought another controller and the same thing happened with it. I posted in the forums the issue I was having, moderator said Microsoft was looking in to it. That was 2 months ago. Still no fix. Called support, only
suggestion they had was send in unit. Which will means weeks before I will get it back. I have had issues with my console since I got it. Some were fixed with updates, but still have some issues that haven't been fixed. Had high hopes for xb1 but once again
Microsoft has let us down.

 

I have the Titan-fall controller and is doing the same thing. Called support and they told me it was out of the 90 day warranty so they can't a damn thing... Really!! 90 DAYS!!! c'mon man.. what a waste of my hard earned money.

 

Ive tried the troubleshooting but it didnt fix my xbox one first day edition comtroller is not usable due to it keeps looking up without touching it. Its not usable. How can i fix it?
