    Controller keeps disconnecting


    my controller keeps disconnecting and saying please connect a controller or press A. This happens about every 30 seconds. It's made playing it practically impossible. The batteries are brand new. It's not getting bumped and disconnecting the battery. It
    happens on my old controller and on the brand new controller. It only started happening three days ago. And has got worse.

    My console wifi doesn't work at all after owning it for a year and one month so just out of warranty. I could deal with that by running a cable and having the consol in a different room. But this control issue has rendered my Xbox useless. Can anyone help
    with this controller issue? If I can't sort it out I'm going to buy a PlayStation. Fed up with Xbox issues. Thanks

    My controller keeps disconnecting from my xbox. I have bought new controllers and it still disconnects even with the new controller. I have the Day one xbox. Any help will be nice.

    Exactly what they said above. Make sure the connections are clean and when you have the pack plugged in, make sure there is no visible crack anywhere in the case. It should seal up perfectly with no games or cracks.

    Also if you know anyone with an extra controller you could try it on your console and see if it resolves the problem. You could also take your controller into any store that sells games or consoles and see if they will let you test your controller on their
    console.

    Last. Make sure you don't slam your controller onto your lap if you are ever frustrated. If the controller is slammed down or set down too hard onto a surface, it could start popping the battery pack out of the controller. Over time, that will prevent
    the pack from snapping in properly. Hope this helps.

    If you have followed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail all you can do is send that console for repairs.
