Controller keeps disconnecting

Hello,

I am getting really frustrated with this controller, it keeps disconnecting, and telling me the batteries are low (I am using the Play and Charge kit). Even after a full night of charging the controller, it tells me the batteries are low, or the controller
just disconnects, which is extremely frustrating when I'm trying to play a game and I either die or I fall behind. I haven't even had the Play and Charge kit for 6 months! This isn't the first time I've had this problem either, I've tried multiple Micro
USB cables, but none of them seem to work on the controller, but they work fine on my phone and headset. Any help would be appreciated.

My wirless controller keeps disconnecting; if i buy the rechargable cable batttery pack would able to play without the controll disconnecting

Sorry to hear it. Perhaps the kit has built up a memory and is not fully charging. This does happen over time. Can you please try loading in a fresh pair of normal batteries to see if you still experience the same issue?

Seems to be working fine with batteries. What can I do about the Play and Charge kit?

You'll probably need to purchase a new play and charge kit. However, I use the energizer charge kit. It comes with 2 batteries and stand for charging and it's lasted for me since the Xbox One came out.

My controller keeps disconnecting from my xbox. I have bought new controllers and it still disconnects even with the new controller. I have the Day one xbox. Any help will be nice.

Exactly what they said above. Make sure the connections are clean and when you have the pack plugged in, make sure there is no visible crack anywhere in the case. It should seal up perfectly with no games or cracks.

Also if you know anyone with an extra controller you could try it on your console and see if it resolves the problem. You could also take your controller into any store that sells games or consoles and see if they will let you test your controller on their
console.

Last. Make sure you don't slam your controller onto your lap if you are ever frustrated. If the controller is slammed down or set down too hard onto a surface, it could start popping the battery pack out of the controller. Over time, that will prevent
the pack from snapping in properly. Hope this helps.

If you have followed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail all you can do is send that console for repairs.

I tried that so I'll have to test it for the next hour or so. Question though, how does the persistent storage affect the controller?
