    Controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting


    I am having an issue where I will be playing on an Xbox One X and my controller will disconnect for a couple seconds, then reconnect shortly after. Sometimes it repeats over and over, sometimes it goes 5-10 minutes between. This issue has happened on multiple
    controllers, including a brand new one that I went and purchased after I noticed the problem. When plugged in the controllers all work fine. All the chat support online has been able to tell me is "change the batteries" or "update the controller firmware".
    It isn't any of that. I've power cycled, reset, factory reset, turned all other wifi devices off and still no answers. Anybody else experience this? I bought this Xbox One X in Feb 2018 and find it ridiculous that 2.5 years and this thing is bugging out meanwhile
    I have a Nintendo 64 that's stormed the beaches of Normandy, went to the moon, and climbed Everest still working just fine. Of course the final solutions from Microsoft are to pay $250 for a repair or buy a new console. Absurd

    Xbox one controller disconnects when I lose connection to the internet

    I know why my internet keeps disconnecting. What im saying is my controller disconnects when i lose connection. It will reconnect but on rare occasions it will not turn back on. Dont worry about the wifi part. All I need to know is if the controllers are
    supposed to drop conneection and then reconnect when the xbox all of a sudden loses internet connection. I dont lose control of the wifi.

    I think I had this issue though before the update. I would get a 3rd xbox if I knew it would fix the issue. From reading all the posts this can't be guaranteed.
