Controller just stopped working ...

To whoever can help ... So basically I would like to know why my Xbox one controller just turned off and stopped working mid game .

The controller is fairly new got it about 2 months ago and I've tried everything. New batteries, I even have a plug and play rechargeable pack, went out and got new batteries and nothing no light just a dead controller. If anybody has answers or any ideas

Xbox One headset not working correctly ?

I have two controllers one controller stopped working with headset now the 2nd controller stopped working with both head sets. they can hear me but I cannot hear them.

Sounds like you may have a fault controller if you've already tried battery pack and batteries. There's nothing you can really swap from another controller as a test. However, being that the controller is not older than 90 days, it should be under warranty
and you should be able to a replacement via

Yes, exactly. This has happens with my system, in different games and with different controllers.

It might be broken. If still in warrentey. You can get free repair. The number for phone support in the states and Canada is 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

Where do you clear the cache first of all and why would that have any thing to do with the controller not working when a game launches... Controller input is not stored in the system cache.

I have been experiencing this problems for a few days now. Last night when I was playing CoD AW with friends my controller stopped working in the game only. Menus and Xbox home it worked fine. As soon as I would join a game it would stop. It happens on multiple
controllers and is very frustrating.

Someone from Xbox needs to respond to this as it is an obvious bug or problem with the system.
