Controller issues using Xbox applications

First you can try a hard reset by turning off and unplugging the console from power completely for 10 seconds. Then reboot and see if that helps.

If not, I would try a system reset and keep your data. Could just be a corrupt file or so. Reset console keeping games and apps

I don't know if you are still having this issue, but I managed to get it figured out here and I figured I would post the answer in case anyone else bumps into this. I found the issue to be related to the Application Control security feature. You can disable
the Application Control completely and the xbox will work, but that wasn't really an option for me. Here are the steps to correct:

1: update the sonicwall to the latest firmware revision

2: set the xbox to a static IP address

3: create an address object for the xbox in the "Network" section

4: go to Security Services/Application Control

5: click "Configure App Control Settings"

6: click the box next to "Enable Application Control Exclusion List"

7: click the "Use Application Control Exclusion Address Object" radio button

8: In the drop-down, select the address object you created for your xbox.

Save and Done!

Yes I do, I have tried using the xbox controller on the console as well now and it is also having the same issue. It persists on all titles and menu's that I connect the Xbox controller to. No third party applications are utilizing the xbox controller
