So I have been reading a lot of different forums today and even talked to microsoft "help" to find out this issue but again I haven't seen any resolutions to it so im writing this forum to bring it into light AGAIN. So apparently people like myself have
been having issues about controllers randomly disconnecting and/or lagging for seconds up to minutes at a time and even though my controller is microsoft with microsoft battery pack and there is nothing wrong with my set up with my xbox in my living room,
they still try to say that it is me and not them. So MICROSOFT please tell me/us what you are doing about this issue because apparently a replacement controller is an answer even though ive read about people buying a whole new xbox and controllers and still
having this issue. currently awaiting my "replacement" to see if this does it as well

Offline lag doesn't exist (as far as I understand the issues). There could be caching issues though. Can you go into details, such as what game(s) you're experiencing problems with and the details of _exactly_ what the problems are?

[/quote]Yeah, same here. There may be some heavy lag, but it doesn't ever appear to be lag switching and there is no aimbot. The "Kill Cam" just shows an exaggerated version of the kill. It's never accurate.

Live is having some technical issues this afternoon. There is really bad lag, and every lobby seems to end in a disconnect. Haven't seen anything official though.

I am connect via cable my wireless chip no longer works or decided it doesn't want to find any networks and the internet itself doesn't disconnect I seem to lag out of online servers without lagging offline from xbox

Do you also have this issue when using the mouse and keyboard because it seems unlikely that lag and sound issues are caused by a controller, also which game is it ?

Yes i already installed it, it's not the game lag that is a problem, the game runs very smooth and i haven't experienced any lag yet, the problem is the controller lag or input lag, the time difference between using the controller and seeing these actions
on the tv. I am sorry if i mixed up the terms game lag and controller lag, because these are 2 different things. But thanks for the advice! i will post my results by tomorrow, i really hope it is just the controller thumbsticks that are worn out because i
am dealing with this controller lag for a long time. I actually resold a tv after buying because the controller lag was to big, the tv was to slow with processing the image of the xbox. Now i have a fast panasonic plasma tv with a lag of 16 ms ( should be
non-noticable for humans, according to what i have read) so that shouldn't be a issue, though i want to reduce the lag as much as possible. For example i do not prefer the bow as a weapon because i find it very hard to aim because of the controller lag.
