    I start the game under Cloud Gaming, Fallout 76, and the controller is detected and working. The problem happens when I open the Gaming Bar and then in Looking for Group posts and then try to join that person's game. I am then prompted to choose an option to "Stream" or "Cancel" so I click on stream. I am then presented by a second pop-up message telling me that my controller is not detected and I am not able to progress any more beyond that.

    I have already contacted Xbox Gaming Support and was directed to go here.

    Things I have tried:

    1. Remove device and reinstall controller three times

    2. Updated controller's firmware

    3. Changed to all USB ports

    4. Changed to Wifi connection instead of wired

    5. Uninstalled all Xbox Gaming software including Gaming Bar and reinstalled then restarted PC

    6. Reinstalled Windows 10 OS

    This problem only arose a day ago. I have put 200+ hours into cloud gaming with this controller and have had zero issue until today

    The controller I have is a PowerA and is on the compatible list of controllers support article for cloud gaming

    I would be greatly appreciative of any help with this as it is very saddening as I very much enjoy playing with specific people on Fallout 76.

    DEFRAG

    Defragment your Windows 10 PC

    1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

    2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

    Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

    If the problem persists, you will really have to test your control so that we can eliminate whether the issue is on the PC or in control.

    Hello Riley, In addition to the procedures you've tried and Windows updates, I see in your description that you try to play on XCloud but are trying to play through the Xbox app or some kind of browser?

    Another thing,I find it odd that Xbox support redirects you to the community because we are independent consultants and we don't have as many resources as they do.

    Trying to play on the Xbox app but have also already tried through browser.

    Xbox support directed me to Microsoft support who then directed me to here instead. So I don't know.

    I also do not have another PC to try my device on.
