controller is connected but says it isn't

I opened up Battlefield 4 and it told me to reconnect my controller. I wasn't able to do anything in the game, just go back to the xbox dashboard and mess around in there.

Does anyone know how I could fix this?

    :)

    Controller issues

My newer controller says that there is a headset connected to it, but there isn't one connected to it. I am trying to get my wireless headset connected to it but the wireless headset goes to the other controller spaces how do I fix this?

  3. XBOX is connected but acting like it isn't

Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes then forget your network and try reconnecting

    Hi,

I suggest you to do a "Power Cycle" to your console. Turn off your console. Unplug the power supply from your console and wall for 30 seconds. After than, plug the cord back and turn on your console, see if that works!
