I don't like analogue sticks, they do not give you 1:1 movement, they just control speed of rotation and I find it clumsy and not fast enough. This also means genres like strategy or RTS just aren't playable on consoles because the analogue sticks are too
cumbersome to use. I personally cannot stand FPS games with analogue sticks, I've tried and tried but they're too slow and inaccurate, a mouse and keyboard is far superior.

I don't like the fact I cannot bind the buttons to what I want, I have to select presets and yet nothing on Titanfall is how I'd like to play. Why can't I just make a custom load out of my own? I just find this lack of choice to be a major turn off when
it comes to the Xbox One. I've been a PC gamer almost exclusively for 10 years now, this is my first long term experience of a console again and I'm not enjoying it because of the lack of options.

I've tried Valve's new Steam controller awhile back and those touch pads are just so much better, they really offer mouse like movement on a controller. I can only hope Microsoft open stuff up a bit more so we can use controller inputs of our choosing, until
then I just have to pick an open platform.

    :)

Unable to use multiple XBox 360 controllers while streaming

I have two XBox 360 wired controllers plugged into two USB ports on my Windows 10 desktop. The controllers work, and I can, for instance, open up Fallout Shelter and navigate around with either controller.

The problem starts when I stream to my XBox One. Suddenly only one controller accepts input. Either controller works in either USB port if it is the only one connected, but with both controllers plugged in, input is only accepted from one of the controllers.

I am trying to play a 4-player game with my two XBox One controllers and two XBox 360 controllers. But for whatever reason I am maxed out at 3 players only since something is blocking the second XBox 360 controller.

Controller disconnects, reconnects, then no buttons work

While playing Halo MCC my controller frequently disconnects. Sometimes after reconnecting none of the inputs work. I have used my connect to go to setting<devices and Accessories and it shows my controller. It will even buzz my controller. It's as if
my xbox knows the controller is there and ignores my inputs. Disconnecting it and reconnecting does not work. A hard reset is the only thing that works. I had this problem in Forza Horizon 2 as well, but not since an update. Is this a problem with my
xbox or controller or something else?

I've had no problems with the Xbox 1 controller. In fact I like it more than the 360 controller for my slim console. It's lighter and performs how it's meant to. I've not installed this update some peps are saying are available for the Xbox 1 controller.
Haven't used the included headset because I want to use the Kinect (Xbox 1's) for voice chat at this stage. I'm 5'10 and my hand span when I lie my hand flat on the table with fingers against each other measures about 10.5cm wide. I understand so peps may
have issues with the controls if you have big hands. Kids shouldn't have issues with it's size. M did invest quite a bit coming up with many designs before the came up with the Xbox 1's controller design how it is now.

but mouse and keyboard means you can turn around at unnatural speeds, where is the realism in that, I moved away from keyboard and mouse years ago and will never go back.

  7. Keep using the controller, OP - you may not like it now because you're not used to it, but give it enough time and it will begin to feel natural, just like how you got so used to using the keyboard and mouse on the PC.

Controller input is my biggest problem with the Xbox One.

Personally I love both controls. I even use an xbox controller for certain games on my pc. But then again I've never struggled with controllers or keyboard/mouse setup. It all feels really natural to me. Like GG said, stick it out and you may get used to
it. If not, you may just have to stick to your pc.

  9. OP sounds like a troll. The Xbox One isn't a PC, so if you want it control like a PC, then wait for it....play on a PC. I get tired of reading everyone's complaints on what the Xbox One doesn't do right. Just enjoy the system, because at the end of the
day it is a phenomenal system.

  10. Mouse/keyboard combo is very nice, true. Once you get used to that precision, using a controller is a bit of a handicap.

Analogue sticks arent for you, and thats great, your used to PC gaming and its understandable why you prefer mouse/keyboard.

However the Steam controller is a pile of dogs dirt (in my opinion) playing games on a tablet/phone with virtual thumbsticks is terrible, and the steam controller using virtual sticks will be just as bad. Why they couldnt do something closer to the PS4's
controller is beyond me, real analogue thumbsticks with a touchpad in the centre, solves all problems.

Just as many people need lots of practice to use mouse/keyboard, it sounds like you need practice with a controller OP.
