controller in broken already through no fault of my own

iv had my console from new for about 2 months and my headset wont work in my controller and iv tryed to speak to microsoft and they cant seem to fix the problem all iv had since iv got this console is things going wrong and im getting *** of with it i asked
someone on the support to send me a new controller and he said u will have to send us ur controller first wtf what am i supposed to do for like 2 weeks when it is the only controller i have common microsoft sort it out and if it ent sorted soon ps4 he i come

Ok, I'll rephrase it. The game is pretty much broken for me, through no fault of my own.

 

Second broken microsoft headset

I bought a day one xbox one on 23/11/2013, the headset broke through no fault of my own in 11/2014, I bought a replacement the same day which is the exact same model and it has again through no fault of my own broken, I feel I deserve a free replacement.
I have been in contact with xbox support and after being very helpful and polite they have referred me to a case specialist and sent me here . Having to buy a second replacement for an official microsoft product that has broken twice under normal and fair
usage to me is unacceptable and points to poor manufacture.
