Controller/Headset Glitch

Ok let me try to explain this the best i can without confusing anyone lol. i have 2 xbox one controllers.. whenever i use one of the controllers with a headset plugged in and it dies on me i will switch the controller up with one that has been charged on
the energizer charge stand. but when i plug the headset back in with the new controller the headset NEVER registers.. i always have to restart my xbox lol.. anyone else have this issue? oh and for some reason idk if this is because of the energizer charging
stand but my controllers never FULLY charge.. they say they are but there is like a little bit of the top still missing on them.

System Freezing w/ Strange Audio?

The same thing has happened to me numerous times playing Titanfall since getting the headset adapter and the Turtle Beach XO Seven headset -- the controller disconnects, the audio glitches horribly, and I have to reset the controller, which fixes it. It
happened twice yesterday, so it hasn't been fixed for me.

Controller Problems

That's a weird glitch. Check your controller for an
update, and give your console a
power cycle as well. Hopefully it helps!

Have you recently update your controller by any chance? My headset has just stopped working after installing the latest software.

Yes i have.. both of my controllers are up-to-date.. it's not that the headset doesn't work.. it's just that if it's plugged into one controller and i decide to use another controller after the one i am using has died it just doesn't register and i have
to restart my xbox

Hi XperiCactus, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have experienced this once but I was able to fix it by performing a powercycle on the console.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Some people I know have also received the same problem you're currently experiencing. It's either the headset is broken, or its a glitch that's happening in-game. I know that some headsets don't work with certain controllers.
