    Controller has random stick drift after sitting in a shelf for 2 weeks.


    Probably the wrong sub but recent posts got my attention on the subject. I've had a series x blue controller about 2 months now and it's spent the last 2 weeks on a shelf untouched because I hate the share button.

    Went to use it while my other controller charged and was greeted with extreme stick drift on both sticks. It runs through the dashboard on its own for reference. This is ridiculous for a controller that's never been dropped and barely used, it's basically brand new still and now worthless.

    Is there a way to get it replaced or push a class action lawsuit or something?

    Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller - Garbage

    I feel your pain. I got mine for Christmas, and about 6 months in, I got stick drift. So I reached out to Warranty and Repair, and they approved it to be shipped back in and they replaced it. After shipping it, it took about 2 weeks to get a new controller
    back.

    Unfortunate that stick drift is a common thing these days, but that's what I did to handle my Series 2 controller.

    Iv'e bought multiple controllers over the years and iv'e only had a stick drift issue with one of my controllers and it was on it's last legs to be honest (after serving me well over the years) it was time to retire the controller and get a new one, witch
    i just bought a random controller that was brand new, and i haven't had problems with stick drift in many years.

    The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
    drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

    ok, my 1st elite came back, try this. left stick drift to right (fresh new controller from ms service)

    ok i sent back this 2 broken Elites.

    1-2 week done, get 2 new fresh Elites... tested... both new Elite's (my 3rd and 4th) left sticks drift to right...

    my last 5 Elites broken, 3 fresh from Xbox Support. Thats a big joke.
