Controller freezing

my xbox one and controller are both wired, yet the controller becomes unresponsive for up to 30secs every time, this happens every 15secs. Very hard to attempt to use the console when this happens as you can imagine. Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried updating the controller or hard resetting your Xbox?

each time it's freeze, I press the xbox button on my controller and my controller vibrate, I wait 1 minute and then the screen goes black and the xbox completly freeze.

I bought a new controller and the freeze disappeared so it was the controller that caused the bug

Hi,just to be more clear,this is my dads xbox and after he tells me to stop playing,his controller freezes a few times then it stops freezing.This is with any controller and it doesn't freeze on the other Xbox.

So if the "Home " button is freezing also maybe its the controller instead of the keyboard ? Does it ever freeze during a game or only when your trying to type ? I would plug the controller up to the usb and update it if it will let you...

After a while with a cable, the controller will freeze with the Xbox light still on while the OS thinks that the device is working normally. In the game/program, the last button I pressed would freeze (i.e. walking forward indefinitely) and the controller would be unresponsive until I unplug it and re-plug it back in. Same thing happens in Bluetooth, except after it freezes, it will reconnect.
