    controller freezing console


    Hi

    i have a used console from a friend without a controller.

    i bought original XBOX360 controller with wireless usb adapter. i connect it to the console and when i power it up the console just freeze (picture added).

    i tried to connect it after the console powered up but it just dosent connect to controller and look freeze as well.

    anyone had this problem? what should i do?

    i tried the controller on a PC and it worked great.

    My XBox has been having a lot of problems lately.

    The freezing means (most of the time) that your console is going to Red Ring. The connection issues could have many variables. What controller do you have? Wireless or Wired?

    I’m still plugging away at this, but I have got a XBO X since last Monday and I’m experiencing freezing of the game, a loud tone noise then the console would shut down and not restart until I manually press the on/off button on the console ( no restart from the controller).

    Happened a few times now...

    Has any else experienced this?

    Hi there,

    when you are trying to use the controller on the Xbox 360, do you do that with or without the wireless usb adapter.

    Be sure to try it without when trying, since it shouldn't be needed on the 360 console. Use the pairing buttons on console and controller to establish a connection like show here:

    I've been reset AGAIN!

    It can happen when your console freezes, which is what happened to me. Console freezes have the potential to affect everybody. Players are not in control of when their consoles freeze. Therefore, resets have the potential to affect everybody through no fault
    of his or her own. That is absolutely unacceptable.

    Wrong. My console if infected with a virus. Someone is taking control of the power. It freezes for a moment and then the console shuts down.
